Market tape & CVD

The market tape is the raw feed of every trade as it prints - time, price, size, and which side was the aggressor. Cumulative volume delta (CVD) runs alongside it, summing buy volume minus sell volume so you can see aggressive pressure accumulating before it shows up in price.

Every trade scrolls newest-first, coloured by aggressor - green when a buyer lifted the ask, red when a seller hit the bid.

CVD is the running total of buy-minus-sell volume. Rising CVD is net aggressive buying; falling CVD is net aggressive selling. It appears as a sparkline in the DOM ladder and tracks pressure over the recent tape.
